Prof. Yasuo, a distinguished medical professional, earned his M.D. from Niigata University School of Medicine, followed by a Ph.D. from Tohoku University. His extensive career spans various prestigious roles, including a Research Instructor at Baylor College of Medicine in Texas and professorships at Tohoku University and Hirosaki University. Since 2012, he has been serving as a Professor in the Department of Medical Oncology at Niigata University Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences.
Throughout his career, Prof. Yasuo has demonstrated unwavering dedication to patient care and medical education. His board certifications from the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine and the Japanese Respiratory Society, along with his Diplomate status from the Subspecialty Board of Medical Oncology (JSM), reflect his commitment to excellence in his field.
