Dr. Quyen attended the Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University after graduating from her high school in Can Tho, becoming a general practitioner in 2004. She took up work at Saigon’s 115 Hospital, where she worked as a generalist for a couple of years before focusing on rheumatology patients.
Finding herself gravitating towards internal rheumatology cases because of their challenging nature, Dr. Quyen focused on rheumatic disorders that can affect a broad range of people, from pediatric to geriatric.
Beginning her practice at Raffles Medical after three and a half years at 115, Dr. Quyen joined as a GP and works to perform health checks on patients—initially specialising in visa health examinations for Australia and New Zealand immigration purposes, representing a new direction in her medical career. She finds adhering to visa check policy an interesting and challenging task, requiring great concentration, and greatly enjoys this focus.
