Dr. Jiro Kitamura’s interest in the medical profession led him to devote his studies in Medicine at one of Japan’s top educational institutions —the School of Medicine Kyoto University, during which time, he also trained in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at major hospitals in Japan. Dr. Jiro was also an active Research Fellow on Thoracic at the Massachusetts General Hospital and contributed to numerous medical research and scholarly peer-reviewed publications.
After graduating with a Ph.D. at the top of his class in 2013, Dr. Jiro was awarded memberships in various professional societies including the Japan Association for Thoracic Surgery, the Japanese Cancer Association, Japan Surgical Society, and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
Dr. Jiro’s strong medical competencies will serve as an extension of our medical services to provide international care for the Japanese, expatriate, and local communities of families with children.
